Ajia Clark is a Singer-Songwriter from Colorado who decided in 2007 after being a backup singer to embark on a solo singing career. Although her roots are firmly placed in Rhythm and Blues, she draws inspiration from many different musical influences such as; Etta James, Jill Scott, Tina Turner, Nina Simone, Anita Baker, and Lauryn Hill.

“Having grown up in a musical family with all those different genres it influenced the Singer-Songwriter I am today,” says Ajia, “I started becoming more and more involved in the live music scene through friends who are some of the most phenomenally talented musicians that currently perform in and around Nashville. All of a sudden, people started asking “Who’s the new girl with the old school sound?”

Ajia is busy writing and recording her highly anticipated album “Finally Ajia”, Ajia Clark has a gorgeous voice with a clear pitch and resonance. It’s amazing when you listen to an artist that will make you believe in the power of music that will make you realize that there are still artists out there with vision and integrity.
